About the Author
D'Amato played a huge role in Tyson's formative years, legally adopting him at age sixteen, and shaping him both physically and mentally after years of living in poverty. Brutally honest, raw, and often hilarious, Tyson chronicles his tumultuous highs and lows in the same sincere, straightforward manner we have come to expect from this legendary athlete. A bare-knuckled, tell-all memoir from Mike Tyson, the onetime heavyweight champion of the world—and a legend both in and out of the ring. A singular journey from Brooklyn’s ghettos to worldwide fame to notoriety, and, finally, to a tranquil wisdom, Undisputed Truth is not only a great sports memoir but an autobiography for the ages. While photographing him, Cus wandered over and asked why Lori was shooting that kid, when the bigger kid in the corner working a speed bag would one day be the heavyweight champion of the world! This is the no-holds-barred autobiography of a sporting legend driven to the brink of self-destruction The bestseller that has everyone talking.

Boxing, Life, Loss, drugs, hookers, baby mamas, champagnes, money (a lot) Rolls, Versace, Tupac, jail time, ear biting, pain and more he was just a young guy with outstanding talent and no one to guide him and he was surrounded by rat fxxks. I can highly recommend one of the best books I've read and also extremely exciting. Quite worn out.

A real honest and awesome read of the greatest fighter, in and out of the ring. You really learn a lot from Mike Tyson's life. A real honest account of the hardships of life on the street as well as at the top.

Money doesn’t maketh the man nor does it help to control the demons that allowed him to get to the top. his description of his life, himself, his surroundings and behaviour in the first few chapters is hilarious with some real belly laughs.
Bobin Johnson
The Mitch Green episode I burst out laughing at especially the gas station part. Raw, undiluted and head on.
