Especially with live master tracks on tidal Jesus if I didn't have the hd600s or m1060s I'd daily drive these in a heartbeat and that's saying something! It's my experience, and that's how I tell it. Somewhat scarce in bass, but clean, deep and detailed; medium and treble more than enough and with a lot of detail.

Finally found the right headphones, since I have small problems with hearing, I needed a low-bass headphones. Now I'll start by saying these sound great! When I discovered the pads I took them out hoping they'll improve the soundstage and top-end and oh boy did it no lie the highs got higher and the instruments got much wider!

However, when I first received them I was disappointed not so much so that I was put off by them but enough where I wondered what the high price tag was all about the bass and mids were wide and well represented but the top end was low and just a bit rubbish overall and I was using a good DAC/amp I was mainly using a fiio btr5 and my Harman Kardon receiver/headphone amp and DAC so my equipment should've made them sing but they weren't performing to my expectations. Bad longevity bodes for this part of the headset. ; for the market price of one (more or less), I would have both.

The definition is very good and the bass, without being impressive, is there and you can hear frequencies as low as approx. I include a photo with indicative equalization to slightly retouch listening with a lot of volume, although as you can see, these are corrections that I have made of just 2 or 3 dbs that most people will not appreciate if they are not oriented or trained to appreciate it. Greetings EDIT to include my opinion on the AKG K702 that I purchased as a second hand, and that Amazon does not allow me to do it individually.

I insist that I think it's a shame that Amazon doesn't allow more than one review with the same nickname/username/buyer. Got another control unit upstream, perfect. In the absence of more conclusive evidence, I will think about whether to invest in higher models, or I will change brand/model. As I say, I bought this second-hand headset, and I have to say that it is in much better condition of use than the previous AKG K 612 Pro whose reference is above.
