I was pleasantly surprised it actually fitted the whole of my mattress king size is a good size. I suspect they will work loose quite quickly and I will have to make a repair at some point in the future. 5p.

The ties are nylon cord, with taped loops to feed them through when you secure it to the mattress to prevent it moving around as you sleep. The initial warm up is usually enough to turn it off. Forget the myths, this king size blanket is amazing. I definitely recommend this.

I placed the blanket as instructed at the top of the bed, and the connector sat just under the pillow, unfortunately it is uncomfortable as I often have my hand under the pillow, or my shoulder would rub on it. I have another on the wall opposite the bottom of the bed which worked better for me, so I use it with the switch at the footside. All works well, however, the electric plastic connector that is secured to the blanket is rather proud and too far 'over' on the blanket. I'll use the medium heat to get it warmed up faster and then have low heat.

Fits nicely on my super king bed, only issue is the heat connectors stick slightly too far into the bed and can be uncomfortable when trying to sleep. I bought the size for a double bed, I feel it doesn’t quite fit in length, I either have cold feet or cold neck and shoulders and it does travel that being said it’s been a god send in this recent cold weather, super toasty after a few minutes in bed and once bed has warmed up I turn it off for the night. I have pulled it to the bottom of the bed so my feet are warm but I think it’s a possibility that I’ll return this for a king size one

I don’t know where other blankets have the disc, but, looking at this one’s reviews, the placement seems a particular problem. It has even taken the skin off through the sheet.

This product is almost perfect, great heat output on a choice of 3 settings. This doesn't concern me too much as 10 minutes with a sewing machine will put that right when needed. You are supposed to place it with the switch by the pillow, however my bed is the wrong way around for it, the plug socket is to the left side of bed.

I took the advice of other users and ordered the King Size for my Standard Double bed. I only use on number 1 to remove the chill and it costs a total of 6p to run overnight for 8 full hours at 25w per hour.
