4 gig so be prepared for a fair wait before you can actually get to play the game, especially if you have super slow internet like we do! You might take a while to get used to the functions of moving the figures around on the various sections of the portal and of course there are scores of in game pointers for you to 'invest' in the multiple add on game packs to fully explore the various worlds and get the full potential of what all the individual characters you can buy are able to do.

I could go on n on giving you a wannabe professional gaming hack's review but you're just as likely to visit a number of big gaming sites for that so here goes with the brief initial thoughts from your average punter's point of of view: the game immediately hits you with so many big franchises at once you're not sure what to make of it but as crazy as it sounds they all fit in to place as quickly as you have thought about it. We got the Scooby Doo and Jurassic World 'team' packs with this from the off, along with the Wizard of Oz 'fun' pack seeing Libro are doing this 10% promo deal but we are going to have to spend plenty more dough to realise the full potential of this game and unlock everything. Fair to say it was useful having all this time to save a few pennies up as we're definitely going to need them to get all the add ons!

For that reason alone I'm not willing to give it the full five stars, we are lucky enough to be able to afford all the packs that are out already or coming out in the future over the course of time BUT it won't be cheap and for people on a budget, especially parents with kids who want them all straight away, this game will be a huge financial drain. Son loves this game. You can complete the game with the three mini figures and bat mobile that has come included in this pack but you're not going to get even close to 100%ing it without the bundles of extra toys/game packs Lego clearly want you to buy. So Lego Dimensions is finally here, after months of hype the time has come!
I am not going to go in to spoilers for obvious reason, so just from the start as soon as you land on the yellow brick road in Wizard of Oz world it becomes even more crazy straight away with the Wicked Witch and her army of flying foes but the humour is spot on, as is the trademark of every Lego game that TT have churned out! Pack buy on offer a chance because it is still quite expensive very pretty and good game well designed nothing to say.
I decided to put the portal and one pack of the mini figures together yesterday but only got round to trying the game out today, blimey the day one update patch was 5. And of course the big question is, was it worth the wait? And that is the bottom line, the game is superb and we have loved every minute we've played of it thus far!
