Quinoa? I have been trying a few different electric pressure cookers over the last couple of weeks, namely the Instant Pot (IP) and Pressure King Pro (PKP) models as shown in the photos. To get the pot to come to pressure very quickly make sure you use the saute function to heat it up whilst you chop your ingredients and use boiling water. The cooker is well-built, and the controls are user-friendly, making it easy to operate even for those new to multi-cookers.

For a crispy finish you can throw them under the grill for a few minutes afterwards. I'm a huge fan of one pot meals, and since I bought this I've barely used anything else. ]Photos:Pakistani Greens from Jill Nussinow's Vegan Under PressureQuinoa with Pistachios and Currants, also Vegan Under PressureOrange Glazed Pork Chops from Bob Warden's Great Food FastThe Cheesecakes you could soon be making! 2.

When operating as a pressure cooker it's absolutely silent, so much so you have to trust the display that it's on! Are there different heat settings for the sauté/browning option ? Yes, cheesecake.

It took me a fraction of the time of my usual oven baked version. 3. A highly recommended purchase, really glad I got one!

I've had pressure cookers, slow cookers, rice cookers etc before, but this is so much better than all of those. The PKP is of course half the price but I found the IP to be of much better quality specifically the plastic handle, finish, and quality of the inner pot. )I love how easy it is in use, after two times I got the feeling of how to use all the buttons without the manual.
