They are very easy to fit providing the panels have a lip round the edge to hook them on to, the difficult part was evicting the pigeons and their nests from the roof first Excess hook wire cut off with the same snips we used to cut the mesh, they are quite soft so anything would probably cut them! They just work, I know they are expensive for what they are, but this is the cheapest way I found to buy them. Also, if for any reason you need to be back under the panels, get hold of the edge of the disc with some grips and twist (the grips not the disc).

We have 14 solar panels and used about 75 of them. Also I found it easier to use a pair of grips to hold the end of the hook tight and slide the disc right up with your fingers. We only wasted 2 when fitting them. Couple of things I found to make life easier, slip the disc half way on before trying to use it to secure the mesh, you will find it instantly holds the mesh in placefor you too.
These clips were cheaper than many other types on the market. Have fun.
