The fact that the battery lasts so long, I really don't have to worry about charging the battery often if I keep it on the light and toss it in the truck. The DCL050 is a work horse when working on the car of in a dimly lighted room (closet).

Very low power drain and will last hours using any Dewalt 20V MAX™ battery. I bought my first DCL043 6 years ago, and it has been my go to search light/spot light.

The DCL043 is my latest purchase. I have a large acreage and I bought this flashlight to spot animals and whatnot on my property in the dark when I hear a noise on my property I like to know what's going on. I bought my second light this past year, since they now replaced all LED cells to white, instead of both white and red modes. We bought this for camping be sude we didn’t have a flashlight and wanted something versatile.
