At first he was just randomly hitting and manipulating the whole thing- then we got to watch him learn it and figure out how to open and close doors- such a cool way to see his progress. Bought as a gift. I was glad to find that my product was okay inside this box. Bought for my son when he was 7.

Update: now he's 17 months old- he still loves it, it's holding up to the use and abuse, he's learned to work the locks and identify the stuff behind the doors. Not sure how or when this fight took place but the outcome could have been critical for the Vtech toy inside.

Now he's 9 months and still loves it. The songs and sounds are not annoying, and theres an off switch.

I bought this for my 14 month old grandson. Colorful game with music and different doors and looks for a baby to open and close doors and windows. Really a great find.
