I purchased it to go along with the Best Choice Products Pretend Play Grocery Store that I also purchased on Amazon for Christmas. It’s definitely not flimsy plastic. I like that it talks when buttons are pushed and says things like plus, minus and total. The cash register from the Best Choice Store was wooden and didn’t act like a calculator.

The cash register was delivered quickly and packaged well to avoid any damages. Its makes us laugh to hear different prices for the same item each time it’s scanned. It holds just enough for them to learn.

I wasn’t too bothered by this because they aren’t going to be counting hundreds of dollars at their age. The toy matched the picture and description of the product. This register helps them with that and the kids love it.
I replaced the wooden one with this register. Received today Item appeared to have been used as it was switched on and making noises ,its a lovely item but the box is torn and bashed ,I would keep it and accept a partial refund as I want it for tomorrow for my Grandaughter's Birthday but wasn't given the option so now I have to wait till Tuesday for a replacement and return this one .
The cash register works well. Just put your hand around the top of the mic leaving it open just enough to see the tip of the mic about a quarter inch or so down, then put mouth right on that hand to talk. No putting mouth on the mic itself! I wanted to teach my children how to count, add and subtract currency, and take/give correct currency.
The drawers to hold the cash isn’t really big so you can only put a little stack of cash and a few coins without getting it stuck. This little register is super cute!
It’s a fun way for them to learn. We put the bar codes on random small items for our “store”.
