To do this you simply push on the mama dog’s front legs to open the tummy section and put all three puppies inside. The puppies are super cute but beware also very tiny so if you have little ones watch them so that they don't choke on them. The realism of the birth process is a little lost, but it will still undoubtedly have your little one asking questions. (The piece of pink cloth).

The playset comes with Barbie, mama dog, dog bed, paw-shaped bathtub, shampoo bottle (missing from the picture) cloth and three newborn puppies. I love that this toy starts my daughter thinking about different career paths and volunteer opportunities that she may want to pursue in the future.

The Barbie is a regular Barbie in a cute outfit. The puppies have colour change eyes that open and close when you rub a washcloth over their eyes. Barbies elbows do not bend, which makes it difficult to get her shirt on and off. The media could not be loaded.

Initially, we thought that the colour change didn’t work but it turns out that we were doing it all wrong! This is a cute Barbie with a larger dogs and three puppies that the Barbie can help "deliver" - you insert them in the big dog's belly and then they can be born (you push on the dog's head to deliver them).
