Unfortunately, the cars themselves could be better. It has rounded corners, but could still hurt if someone were to fall on it or get hit by it.
Sole
My little boy has a very short attention span but this garage holds his attention longer than any other toy we’ve bought so far, which is why I wanted to leave this review. Melissa and Doug are a favourite of Cassie, who is 4½, and her sister, Felicity, who is two years younger. Only downside is cost. Other than that, both items are exactly the same.

There are some nice little details, for instance the petrol pump has a shoelace pipe, and the cars have a little hole that this can plug in to (see picture 5). Another great and good quality toy from Melissa & Doug.

They have the open doll house, some extra people, and also a 10 car vertical garage and they play with them continuously. Closing the garage doors is fiddly because they both move together sometimes so he has to fiddle with it to make them shut evenly, which is a little frustrating for him but good practice! I would recommend. As children are wont to do, they mix and match the characters from Playmobil into this and spend hours making up their own stories.

I guess these help develop motor skills (and the child has to realise that the car only goes through the car wash in one direction). We bought when reduced but even then it's quite overpriced.
