The answer is it only shuts off water to the one directly across from it. Simply finger tighten each connection as mush as you can, rotate the valve to it's final position, and finish tightening an additional 1/2 turn with a wrench fin ensure a tight fit. This very high quality shutoff gives added security of knowing the supply water into the bidet can be shut off quickly & easily when not in use. The media could not be loaded.

This is a very solid and heavy shut-off device, does not feel cheap in any way.

If you don't do it correctly you might strip the thread and or lock the T-adapter in place (not good). Note: Be careful you don't strip the plastic thread on the toilet bowl tank. Gives you the added option of shutting off the attached bidet if you choose not to use it all the time. It helps if you put the metal T-adapter on before you attach the water supply lines.

Your sparkling clean and shiny hiney will appreciate it. Some reviewers who feel the water pressure/force of the bidet is to harsh have said you can lower it by adjusting the lever on this valve. Lux Bidet should consider providing a better quality washer with this T-adapter. The toilet itself is amazing but the seat that came with it is an absolute piece of cheap lightweight plastic junk.
