This is a real value hard drive cheap and cheerful. Mainly bought it for faster boot times on some of the larger games i play. But it's to be expected for the price you pay.

speeded up my laptop quite quickly hopefully you can see both benchmarks before and after installation. I gave my son an old Lenovo Z51 laptop (2015) so he could do his schoolwork during lockdown. The PC is reporting a SMART failure on one drive (see photo) and within Windows the device is now showing as GPT Protective Partition which seems to mean my data is gone unless i want to throw money at buying dubious software that might be able to rescue my data, but no guarantees. Best £25 I’ve spent.

It comes in the packaging in the picture and is a OEM product not a retail boxed one. 6 months down the road and one of the devices has failed. popped in the 2TB, load times are less than a minute for any map which just makes the game far more playable.
