As good as new, possibly a slight loss of noise cancelling, but honestly can't tell. This isn't just a replacement, it's an upgrade. If you're looking to replace your WH-H900N ear pads, look no further :) Definitely worth the price to avoid buying new headphones. With regards to colour, the black is slightly more black but as you can see on the photo are maybe a better match to the plastic casing.

They are a little stiff out of the box compared to my old ones, but I’m certain they just need to be worn in over time. These replacement pads actually feel like the newer style pads - they're softer, and yet they seal your ears properly, so no compromise on the sound quality nor on noise cancellation as far as I can tell.

I was slightly hesitant about this purchase because of some of the reviews, but it was exactly what I needed and wanted. I found these pads to be more comfy and sturdy than the originals, but I can't tell if that's because mine have been torn for so long, lol. These cushion replacements were easy to install and fit snug around my ears! Super happy with purchase.
