the text is filled with medical history- dissection was outlawed except on criminals and. The book is really well done, full of very special and accurate illustrations. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone of a younger age, mature people only.

It's just a pity that the corners of the book are not perfect, for a book lover like me it hurts to see them like this, the shipment this time was perfect in the golden package but obviously already in stock they are not kept well or they arrive not perfect. Contents and quality of the book, however, excellent, collectible.

😍 the archaic,, often sadistic cures that were high medicine at the time. Extra cool are old Chinese watercolors of faces with pustules, every one being made by raising the paper itself.
