One thing to note that I did not find in the manual, maybe i missed it, is when re-inserting the bowl back into the unit, ensure when inserting that the top of the removable bowl is flush with the inner upper surface of the main unit; There is a channel that the top of the bowl slides into - otherwise it will not go in fully. It's available very cheap on Amazon from 'Tonguemaster' and is only £3.

Why has this happened? Had my mom one last year. The coating I used was Kentucky style SFC and it's the nearest I've ever come to original KFC.
