It's a good size although the keys are definitely not full size (not even close) but it's the only way I was going to fit 32 keys on my tiny desk. uk/gp/product/B07GBNNF23/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage? Ableton Live Lite in particular is very easy to get the hang of. And the drivers didn't even need to b installed I plugged and pc identified immediately.

I'll start by saying I was initially skeptical when it arrived as it wasn't the best packaged and the box reveals the contents (worth noting for gifts)Then I took it out the box, not much to see there, just an instruction manual and a USB A to B cable. The software has to be downloaded but is comprehensive enough to start off with.

4 stars instead of 5 because it's micro USB and not USB C, and the keys might be too small for some but I manage. ProTools First I just couldn't get my head round and the installation and download process was unnecessarily convoluted. This is an excellent mini keyboard that with 32 keys, gives you a bit more flexibility than other minis. That's pretty much all I've done so far, I'll update this review once I see what the durability is like over time.

The keyboard itself seems well-built enough if a little cheap but what you'd expect for the price. It does what it has to. The keys are quite short and as such somewhat resistive, but they are softer than others I have used.

The sustain, edit, octave+/-, pitch bend and mod buttons are all soft silicone. It has lots of teaching materials online and comes with a host of supplementary apps including Ableton live 10. Even though it's quite a basic product, with music gear it's harder than you think to get the basics right so M Audio have done a good job here.

The total width of the keyboard is roughly the same width as a full-size QWERTY computer keyboard. The 49MK3 is a lot more suitable for my needs. The keyboard's various functions can be edited "on board" by pressing the edit and combinations of other buttons/keys: RTFM for details and guidance. The price is good, and if you need several computers and several instruments to talk to each other, midi is a solution - however, you should expect to invest in a sound mixer, an analouge / digital sound mixer, if You expect to use a microphone, guitars etc.
