3- the grammar section was kept very short and precisely. I would recommend it to anyone who is willingly enough to do more outside the book to understand the grammar and finally write in Japanese. So in one book (Red - Japanese exercise), you have the text in Japanese, and in the other book (Yellow - Grammar + vocabulary), the translation in whatever your book is translated into.

-The grammar is not properly explained. And I also self-study. The grammar section it's nice and helps to really understand the meaning of the word/particle. -I have something called :“Kanji of the day“ I write it down on a post it, including the stroke order and practice it with my writing practice notebook.

Not everyone is pleased with that kind of setting but it helped me to learn more words, especially Kanji. Tho I can't use the CD because I have nothing to play it, it's super easy to find the MP3 on the web. 2- listening parts helps developing the listening comprehension skills. The CD was very helpful to practice the pronounciation as well.

Beautiful book, came in a prestige condition and perfect for people that can already read hiragana and katakana🤩🤩🤩🤩 It's not complicated. The media could not be loaded.

I personally liked the order of the chapters:1-introducing the main theme of the chapter with sentences set as examples. That kept me from restraining to learn the Kanji.

Also, there's in each (25) lesson some useful words and information. What I did:-summarized the grammar on little post it notes- researched words I did not know. The main book for the exercise is in Japanese only (of course like the JLPT) but they give you an example of what to do to each exercise.
