The shade is solid and sits easily on the wall bracket, which is firstly fixed to the wall. They need to be earthed. I didn’t paint them but the matt, smooth finish of the shade lends itself to a coat of emulsion or spray paint.

I replaced a couple of wall lights in my conservatory with these and installation was straightforward, although I have the necessary spirit level, drill, tape measure and screwdriver required to ensure a neat job. Replaced my old one because it looked dated and too bright for my liking. Good value for money, easy to install, nice quality and looks minimalistically stylish.

So easy to install devastated that the other one was damaged it was the last thing to go in our new living room yet again courier service let down more dents and holes in box than the titanic apart from that can't fault the light fitting Installed two in my hallway and they look fantastic
