The back ones are a bit long for this particular trailer, but when the front end is down far enough, they do have just enough room to swing out and provide extra stability when loading something heavy - prevents the entire trailer from tipping up backwards! For the price, these things are awesome!

I liked these so much that I purchased another set of 4 to install on our utility trailer! I was so impressed with not only how strong and anti-slip these are, but at how much more stable the camper felt, and there was no noise with us walking around inside!

So far, so good! These seem a bit flimsy at first glance, but they're anything but! Also, I do the same with these in the winter - use them to prop the trailer up so the tires are off of the ground. The front ones are perfect in stabilizing the trailer when parked, taking some of the load off of the tongue/hitch.

However, after some other modifications to the camper, I decided to remount the 3 directly to the camper's frame and add the 4th as well. After removing the rusted old ones, I initially installed 3 of the 4 using the same welded-on bolts in the same spots. Mounting to the frame was definitely the best way to go, and for winter storage of the camper, I even extend all 4 jacks enough to prop the tires completely off of the ground - I bought 4 more bolts to fit into the holes on the stand extensions to keep them from slipping due to the extra weight of snow.

They fold nicely up under the frame when not in use, and are easy to extend and retract as needed! I initially purchased one set of 4 jacks as a direct replacement for the 3 similar ones on our pop-up camper.

I drilled and tapped holes into the frame near each corner and purchased custom bolts/washers to fit, as the included hardware was too big for this application.
