I thank you for reading my review as it is a little long, but I hope that it helps you. We tested out the game one evening and it was easy to pickup up on the new game style, the artwork of the cards is great showing all your favorite stranger things characters. Grrr! You won’t tire of this, and consign to a cupboard like many games.

This is a card game with the Netflix series (Stranger Things) theme on Uno. On one side are the goodies, the other the baddies.

The Wild Eleven's Waffle Card allows the person laying it to change the colour, and makes the next person pick up cards until they get a card with a waffle on, this can result in a lot of cards. Let's get the basics fundamentals out the way first.
Kwok Lee
You can only lay this card if you don't have any of the colour in your hand that is on the top of the discard pile. They have also been given this weathered, aged look to them, like something you might have had as a kid in the 80's that you've discovered in some old drawer and decided to play, which is a detailed touch. It includes all of the wonderful characters that you see in Stranger Things, the cards are well made, and we had so much fun playing it! For a sizing guide, squares in photos are 1cm.

However, I do have a niggle. You can use to play ‘Uno’ in the ‘original’ way, as it were, or using the ‘special rules’ whereby, under certain conditions, you flip all cards over to the reverse, which changes the whole game dynamic. The quality of the cards, (stock, glossiness, feel), is superb, with included decent instructions. Notably, the +5 card makes the next player pick up five cards.
Magical Moments
On the upside down world, there are some action cards that are the same, and some that are different. If you’ve ever played ‘Uno’, you’ll know just how good that is. NB. I have ummed and Ahhed whether to reduce to 4 stars, but in the end decided against, since the overall quality, and the game itself is so good, but come on Mattel, have a think about this!
