Mr. Man that can

I’m in the army and I live in army accommodation and during the winter it’s freezing and during the summer our rooms can get upto almost 30* (if ur in the forces u know exactly what I mean…) as there’s no air-con in the building. I have found sticking the exhaust out an open window and closing the curtains is effective enough for now. 1: Setting up was easy I didn’t buy a uk adapter I just made it fit and yes it will work a little better if you buy the uk adapter for the window but it’s working fine just like this no point wasting ur money(see photos)2: I’m in a medium on suit room big enough for desk space a double bed and wardrobes and it cooled my room down in about half an hour.

I used my temperature gun to show the difference between the temp of the air it pushes out compared to the air it pumps down the pipe. I took readings before and after, about the same as running a fan! One major concern I had was noise, due to several reviews labeling this unit as loud. 5: first night using it I woke up in the middle of the night not from sweating but from being boltic thought I was back out in Norway.

I will update my review in case of any changes with my experience. I have recommended this to others already as it is a great product. Second drawback unfortunately is that it is not as quiet as I was hoping. An AC unit will always cause noise.

9,000BTU is ok for a small room or to point towards you in a larger room. 7: You definitely get what you pay for. 4-degree room down to 27. We sat it on a tray in case there was any leakage- there wasn’t- all in all we’ll be purchasing more for other rooms and even better the lecky bill did not go through the roof!

We had heard bad and good things about portable air con units…. 4: Quite on level 1, abit louder on level 2 but you start to get used to it. I purchased via the payment plan which was very easy to set up and is managed through Barclays.

So maybe but a timer on it before u go sleep. Coming back home on a day surpassing 30ºC, and be able to cool down in front of some cold air is an unmatched experience.
