We made soaps with various scents/essential oils and ingredients (including oats, honey, turmeric powder, dried citrus zests etc) and soap always turned out great. We also bought the clear soap (used in the green Xmas tree ones we made) No instructions came with it so I created a double boiler and it took around 5 mins to melt (the portion I cut) with the whole thing covered.
