I prefer to use the wall plug for powering this clock so that it can stay on relatively indefinitely unless the power goes out. Regardless, this makes for a great lamp for sitting on a nightstand in occasional red and green, but don't expect to manually change the colors and have them stay on consistently.

“Is your clock green yet? The Wake-up/Sleep Programming is super easy and straight forward, and on the bottom of the clock so kids don’t have easy access. I like that there is no sound function that jolts you awake, but the light is bright enough that my kids usually wake up just from the change in light in the room. It is intuitive to set, buttons are on the bottom so it is easy to see the display and buttons simultaneously.

Loved the (intended) construction/design. The most extended amount of time this clock has for customized light colors is 90 minutes, then it turns the light off, as for the constellation light as well. ”This little stay in bed clock is a great tool to help little guys learn when it is okay to wake up, especially during winter months when it is so dark in the morning!
