When To Use
- Spraying the plants daily with water will keep them cool and encourage pollination of flowers
- Rich in loam to retain nutrients and also for fruit development
- Place a layer of potting mix in the bottom of the pot and gently tap the old plant from its pot
- Cover the base of the pot with crocks to ensure good drainage
- Water well and keep in light shade for a few weeks to allow roots to grow
- Water thoroughly when required using rainwater where possible

The soil is on the heavy side of retaining water. I don't have a car so it's very difficult to get to garden centres which seem to all be out of town. This may be why some other reviewers had problems.

I have been using this orchid potting mix for years now and gone through 2 large bags. I never put in a ceramic pot. 8L bag surprisingly goes a long way. 99 for 8L).

EDIT: the third picture is how my spider plant is doing now! Hoping to save them🥰 with this mix of compost. i’m impressed so far of the soil.

Happy so far. Says it has perlite but didn't really see any? I've been able to nurture orchids with this mix that were either left for dead at work or reduced in supermarkets because of the sorry state they were in. After about 6 months, we can see that I didn't make a mistake with this and gonna get another bag soon.
