All works well, however, the electric plastic connector that is secured to the blanket is rather proud and too far 'over' on the blanket. Forget the myths, this king size blanket is amazing. Easy to use and heats up nicely.

The ties are nylon cord, with taped loops to feed them through when you secure it to the mattress to prevent it moving around as you sleep. What it really needs is a small material extension/flap so that the electric wire extends inside and then the connector could sit on that, it could then fall over the side of the mattress rather than being in top of it.

It's on a ledge so it doesn't get covered. You are supposed to place it with the switch by the pillow, however my bed is the wrong way around for it, the plug socket is to the left side of bed.

I put it at the bottom of the bed which is better, but if I have my feet too low down in the bed and a little to the left I touch it, which is slightly annoying. It's very warm, but it will form pills after being used for a long time. I’ve not had an electric blanket before, so have nothing to compare it with; I’m pleased, but the plastic disc is in a really annoying place, as it’s right where I prop myself up on my elbow to turn on/off light, reach for my water etc.

I was pleasantly surprised it actually fitted the whole of my mattress king size is a good size. It has even taken the skin off through the sheet. 5p.

The initial warm up is usually enough to turn it off. The area under the pillows is not heated and this is quite normal for any brand of heated under blanket.
