It is not a daily carry one-hand opening pocket knife. This is not a typical one-hand opening pocket utility knife, a design loved by Americans.

I am left handed, so a right hand clip just gets in my way. Because I love the hand feel and the look of the grip so much, I opted to remove the belt clip. Though I doubt I'll ever take this one camping.

The thumb stud is too small and located in the wrong place on the blade for that. I also appreciate the Paracord lanyard.

I've kept it in case I ever decide that I wanted it back. A better choice for Americans needing a one-hand opening daily utility knife is the Spyderco Native Lightweight, which is about the same price as this Victorinox Evoke knife, $120. I've had Victorinox knives for many many years, currently the Rescue Tool and the Swiss Champ but I've always wanted this knife because it's flat out cool and gorgeous. That will not be a problem for most customers because they are right handed.
