This book is different I love the history part of plants it’s written with love and easy to follow and understand I would skip the reviews that complain about no pics the author clearly states reason for this before you buy and that there’s a free download with full illustrations I’ll continue to follow and buy books from this author I’m hooked I read several reviews that where not great, though I had already purchased. A fascinating and well written book. Would really recommend.

As someone, who to say the lease, is a novice at foraging. My book has pictures, as mention in previous reviews there are none or only digital images,Not what I got, I think there are copies without so just make sure it’s the Yellow version. It is a great reference. I’m finding the book really helpful.

It's big enough that it contains all the info you need without taking up all your bag space! The author also has a regular newsletter with seasonal information. Author is very helpful and will send you the photo identification guide when following the instructions in the book. Great pocket sized book with information on edible and medicinal plants, including parts used for food, food uses, nutritional profile, herbal medicine use and cautions regarding side effects.
