The limited edition World Cup shirt on the bottle add an extra element of fun for any footy fan! The smoothness makes it a great drink over ice, but it works equally as well as a cocktail whisky too.

I received the blue one. 18. A nice unusual flavour the vanilla to my palate is slight but noticeable, its like no whisky I have had before it is very smooth even neat it has no after shock which is very nice, I take it neat with ice and a splash of water and it is very flavoursome, I tend not to use mixers as it distracts from the flavours of the spirit, a wonderful drink, I would highly recommend. Some people are complaining that you can't choose the design.

That's not a bad thing as Jameson is a great whisky anyway, and at the time of writing, it's £3 less than the normal bottle here on Amazon. It is a nice Irish blend and does have a subtle vanilla taste that is worth giving a try.

Jameson is a long established and popular brand. As it is a limited-edition bottle, I feel like it would be a good gift for a football fan. It's got a sweetness to the smell, and the taste, that's just right, with notes of fruit and not at all heavy on the vanilla, but there is a hint there. Sorry for being a bit slow but not being a football fan I didn’t understand the link with the World Cup.

There is a QR code on the neck of the bottle that takes you to a quiz to determine your best blend whisky and some more football info. Looking at the Jameson website the colours represent different characters which if you were gifting is a funny talking point as Jameson have put together their own ‘team’:• Blue – the Pundit• Pink – the Pro• Green – the Stirrer• White – the Socialiser• Yellow – the GafferWe have tried this both as a cocktail (there’s a great selection of whiskey cocktail recipes on the Jameson website if you’re stuck for ideas) and we tried it neat with ice as well.

You can't go wrong if you like whisky, it has vanilla notes and can be mixed with lemonade etc if you prefer. Jameson does make a great whisky, for me smooth, slightly smoky with a buttery sweet finish to it and I prefer the old cowboy mode!
