The helmet has also taken a few falls with no problems to the lamp. I made my own hard hat w/light for under $50! I am an industrial electrician and use it often it has no problem staying on my helmet like other headlamps have. The brightness of the lamp also is more than I need and sometimes working in a basement can be very dark.

I am recommending this to anyone who needs a quality headlamp at a very reasonable price. ! LOVE IT! There are no need for any ties or clamps either the anti slip straps work well.

The Dewalt Jobsite Touch Headlamp works well for me. It is not a heavy and cumbersome lamp either like some other lamps I have had (with the big battery packs in back) that cost 3x as much.

I bought this headlamp with a dewalt hat anf a nylon bump liner.
