The only issue I have found with it is that due to the cutting teeth being angled only slightly wider that the bar it does have a tendency to stick when cutting some woods. I can't find an extra battery to fit it.

The Bosch spare batteries are a slightly different shape. You can see that it got so hot the metal discoloured in the attached photo. I have the Professional 12v system. .

really. Cut back a whole row of Leylandii with this wee tool. Bought this cutter to complement my 12v bosch system. A bit of sawing motion helps a lot.

I particularly find this is the case when cutting up pallets but it can easily be overcome by using a slight sawing motion or just varying the angle of the cut. A very handy tool which works well. After looking carefully I found out that just by cutting some material off the handle, the newer professional 12v version battery fits.

Although the instructions say that no oil is required I have found that there is a disc the chain goes round at the tip which rubs and gets quite hot. Although it's not very powerful, it is easy and versatile. (blue)Did not realize that there are TWO 12v systems by Bosch!

There is a hole in the outer casing just below the 'made in germany' text where you can put a drop of oil on both side just before you use it which helps significantly. The media could not be loaded.

This and a branch cutter worked perfectly. Easy to use. I was scared of a large vhainsaw.
