One they received the broken cable, they sent a brand new cable through Amazon courier. I live in an apartment so snaking cables through the walls was out so I needed a cable that was long enough to run along the top of the baseboards to the vizio tv. I'm not trying to use really advanced features or do technological gymnastics.

Once validated, they asked me to send the cable by courier (which costed around RS. The attractive blue accents are a small bonus. This happened not because of rough use.

It got broken just because of the curl of the cable itself. Update: February 26, 2014I had one of my cables get bent.

So I decided to add a 3rd monitor and purchased 43 inch vizio tv for that purpose. Thank you Appario Retail and Thank you Amazon. The cable seemed so small but on unwinding I found it was indeed 15 feet in length and of excellent durability and quality.
