the book itself was great. Once again, Sabaa Tahir knows how to develop her characters with realism.

This issue is, of course, clearly resolved by the end of the novel. This was particularly true of the beginning of the book during the introduction of the Soul Catcher. If you thought book one was heart wrenching, then get ready to have to heart ripped out. Constant suggestions are made towards mass war and revolution, and the scale of this was really engaging.

What I Loved:Other than the extraordinary emotion evoked by this wonderful story, there was a lot to love about it. Towards the end, I was completely gripped. Book 2 picks off right from where book 1 left off.
