That’s all I’m going to say. All the glorious tension you could ask for. Because this was dual-pov between our two main leads and let me tell you THE TENSION WAS THERE. ’𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙩’𝙨 𝙚𝙭𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙡𝙮 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙄 𝙢𝙚𝙖𝙣 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙖𝙮.

Bury me with this book 🫠Okay, so I had seen this book compared to Crescent City A LOT. ✑ Then there’s Loren Calla, a badass human, struggling to survive in a city full of supernatural creatures yet hunted by every darkslayer you could possibly imagine and one of her friends is taken instead of her. Deceased. There were twists and turns around every corner to keep you completely immersed in this world.

It was so refreshing to read intense detailed filled scenes and have some humor thrown in or witty comments because that's exactly how I am in real life. There is so much flirting and banter between these two MC’s that it had me going slightly crazy waiting on them to bang 😂 But this very SLOOOOW burn romance was worth it in the end and yes there is spice – hopefully we get lots more in the next book! Love her. Grumpy sunshine?

Well… I absolutely devoured this book whole and am refusing to spit out it’s bones, they’re mine too. Want a hot as hell male? 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬. Loren is willing to do anything to save her friend even if it meant working with Darien Cassel, the leader of the Seven Devils, the most feared circle in the city.

THIS BOOK WAS CAPTIVATING. It has been awhile since I’ve read 3rd POV but OMG this book just… I’m speechless. Don’t forget to bury me with this book. It’s got wolves, vampires, vipers, demons, reapers, the Angel death, and your normal humans amongst the supernatural creatures.

I absolutely love it and I cannot wait for the 2nd book… THIS BOOK WAS SO GOOD! The strangest part: their intention was to kidnap Loren.
