Before this Makita, I used only devices from the German supermarket. Depending on the sandpaper grade, it will take longer or faster to finish the job. If you want to have a box and save some money, you can buy this item and order M-box number 2 and the inlay 837874-4 separately.

Just got the item and haven't put it in work yet (will update the review later). At maximum speed is loud, but with hearing protection there is no issue.

Device looks well made. Except for the box this item contains everything that is included into a version with a box (BO5041K or BO5041J).

They adhere really well and I only used 2 corse and one fine to finish. Highly recommend this excellent bit of kit.

It’s a bit of an investment, but so worth it for the quality of the finish and the reduction in time spent. The sander comes in a carton box along with handle, plastic sawdust box with one replaceable paper bag, one 120K sanding disk and a manual. If you can, get the Klingspor sanding discs- saw a review that recommended them and it wasn’t wrong. The dust catcher actually works really well and collects about 95% of the dust and there was plenty of it.

Got it back to bare wood really quick and the finish is just amazing. Can’t believe how good this sander is. This Makita sander has made all the difference. I didn't use it yet, I aspected to pe good but I recieved the version with textile bag instead of plastic recipient as it is in the profile pictures.
