I now have a useable glue gun for half the price. I generally use Makita tools but when I needed an 18g nail gun I opted for a Ryobi brushless one based on extensive reviews beforehand. The photos I've attached show the battery fitted, along with just the Badaptor itself.

I’m a sparky, all my kit is Makita, but the Ryobi led light is way better than any of the top brands, this badaptor is the perfect solution! It never occurred to me that you could get adaptors for the different tool systems. The media could not be loaded. So Ryobi was the correct choice.

! Top Top Product tho! With it fitted but no battery it allows the nail gun to stand level. I’ve always wanted one, but really didn’t want to end up spending a £ 100 for the gun, battery and charger.

However there are some tools that other manufacturers make that do not have a Makita equivalent. Rather than buy into their battery system for a solitary tool I bought the Badaptor instead. Strongly recommended.

Brilliant. What a fantastic idea. I hope you found this review helpful. Whilst some might argue its cost is high (£20), and it is for what it essentially is, the functionality and convenience it provides outweighs any price concerns.

It's also well made, with clean edges, a good fit, and comes in decent packaging. As a Makita fanboy, I will always buy the Makita version of the tool I want.

With a battery fitted the nail gun stands at an incline. As it's a brushless tool and my use is unlikely to ever drain a battery I don't see a problem not having the protection circuits. Seems robust and works. Definitely recommend
