5mm hex bolts. After several minutes of steady drilling with the smallest remover bit, I'd got a reasonable hole and tried turning the bit around to remove the screw - but it wouldn't bite. Off it came!

On the extraction go slow and apply pressure to get the bite. Honestly, I almost sent them back after using them incorrectly!

I had to remove some in-set M6 steel hex bolts from a motorbike that were so ceased up with 5 years worth of road silt that the head shredded when trying to remove with a hex bolt & wrench. I've only just received it and used it once. One screw had been drilled leaving no head at all to work with and just the core remaining.

Went with the smallest cutting size and then the next size up for the extraction end, as the smallest one didn't bite. I would say don't give up on your first try with this. You may need to use the smallest bit to burnish and a larger bit to remove the screw - this is the most important advice I can give.
