I was absolutely covered which I removed with ease with some body oil. I used 2 coats for this project and still had over half a tin left. From this experience I'd say you don't really need an undercoat unless the item you're painting is really porous, just do two coats! I was able to create a waterproof barrier on the wood as well as paint it a lovely pink colour.

It's a shade darker I'd say and looks gorgeous. The paint is a bit like a satin after a couple of coats on smooth wood and matt on rough wood, unless you do lots of coats ans it goes smoother and more satin.

I'm confident I'll have plenty to spare. They have a brilliant assortment of colours.

My partner had already lightly buffed the table to get rid of residue varnish so the paint went on like a dream. It is very old and a bit rotten and it was ginger colour, like a lot of garden things. I've been using these for years and I didn't fully understand about coat timings that it recommends on the tin and wondered why I struggled with a second coat, it separated like it didn't want to go on. This paint is perfect and safe for use on hamster cages.
