I did not want to deprive myself of the Ethernet cable by replacing it with one for the electrical network and the length did not recommend wiring directly with a USB one. ! Awesome. Worked on both straight away no messing around.

I replaced my now ten-year-old POE camera with a more modern and efficient one, but unfortunately powered by USB. So I found the solution on Amazon. Very easy: a split that used the 48 Volt of the POE power supply to make 5V available on a classic USB female connector!

Highly recommended! Got 2 of these and swapped out the plugs for the Phillips Hue Hub v2 and the Hive Hub. In addition, the split also has an Ethernet output to be able to connect any non-POE camera.
