Pros: Speed, qualityCons: Too much dust on the surface. As shown in the images, it took about 4 and a half minutes to copy these files to the Samsung SSD connected to a computer (an Intel NUC8i7HVK from over 3 years ago) with Windows 10 and a 1TB Western Digital internal SSD and 1000 MB/s USB-C port, so you get an average speed of around 280 MB/s, well below the declared value, which is no surprise, I've already had with all the external SSDs purchased so far. It also works for the computer. However, it is a more than acceptable performance for me and I am satisfied with the purchase, given the price and the shock resistance characteristics that, logically, I have not tested ;-) The value of speed in a “real” test confirms that I am not going to look for who knows what model or connection standard (Thunderbolt and USB 4 for example) because the real performance is always different from the nominal values, I think that a medium quality should be preferred that balances performance and price well, as is the case for this Samsung Shield T7. Yes, the Samsung is backwards compatible and at the same time a bit on equal terms for the future when I buy a new PC “soon”. 2 2 generation = over twice faster than the USB 3.
