About this deal

After extensive research, we found Matthias Büttner and his brand X47, a specialist from Germany who has developed a patented calendar system and much more. We've always dreamed of crafting notebooks from our distinctive leather, with the idea that the book cover develops a unique character over time, making it not just the content that's personal. The precisely designed regenerative controller can convert the pushing force coming from the rider into electric power to recharge the batteries. His products are the result of his profound exploration of self-leadership, which he has also documented in various publications. We share his enthusiasm for handwriting in the digital age. Recharging also happens when using the electronic brakes to stop or slow down from a higher speed.

  • The high-quality, ink-resistant paper has been specifically developed by X47 and originates from a renowned paper mill in France.
  • The notebooks feature a stainless steel tube on the spine and are slotted into the spring clip.
  • 14,2 x 21 x 1 cm
  • Spring clip made of high-quality stainless steel with Swiss watchmaker precision, made in Switzerland.
  • Handcrafted at the headquarters of X47 in Saarbrücken, Germany.
  • Weighing 65g and comprising 61 pages, it meets the highest standards.
  • The difference lies in their ease of writing and the convenience of swiftly and effortlessly changing the inserts.

The sound quality is very good & felt extremely natural to me (dynamic mics often have a very "broadcast-y" sound to them). I mean I've only had it now for a day, tested it out for a bit and my friend in discord/stream said it sounded more louder and clearer then my old AT2020 XLR.

I highly and 100% recommend buying a Pre Amp with it. Looks good, sounds good. This microphone is excellent and worth every penny.

This mic does require a lot of gain though: I had to set my EVO 4 to max gain (+50 dB) and even then I could get decent levels only if the mic was about 7-8 cms (~3 inches) from my mouth. Really impressed with the PD-70.

I mean unless you have a more powerful Audio Interface you should def be okay. I have a Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3rd Gen.

Being a dynamic microphone you'll need to give this the right amount of gain, I have my gain on the audio interface set to around 70% and obs I've given it a gain of 4DBGreat improvement over the condenser mic I was using and being a front facing vocal mic background noise is handled wellI did have a faint Hun on the mic when u first started playing around with it but I noticed the cable wasn't in properly so after sorting that it was eliminated and sounds greatThe sub £150 mic range is extremely vast and competitive. So factor that cost into your equation.

Other than that, the mic is a TANK. I only just got this mic today and did a little bit of testing with it, hooking it up to my Audient Evo 4 . Sound quality is great - clean signal, minimal design. I'm really impressed with the microphone and would recommend this to anyone looking for a mic for vocals especially streamers and podcasts

I would recommend a higher quality interface when using this microphone ($150 and up). For the price I would think this is a no-brainer. Paired with the Revelator io24 interface and tuning with the software is pretty easy.
