It’s pretty good and sharpens them to a nice point for those small details. Only wish that they didn't include black and yellow pencils. Per my husband "these aren't graphite.

Theyre good for getting the barebones sketch to then outline with like a fineliner. But I will definitely buy the 24 pack one day! Also, in terms of erasing these seem just okay and not excellent. I use erasable pens from frixion that work far better than these do in terms of erasing.

Lead is thick compared to a normal pencil. They’re pretty easy to work with and it was perfect for what I needed it for.

I got the Wearhouse deal, so not sure if that has something to do with it. I havent used them for coloring,but thats because ive never liked using coloring pencils. I love these pencils and cannot wait to use them, when I got it the package was a little messed up but the pencils were still in good shape so that didn't matter, ive seen them get used and I love them a lot. Black being quite like a regular lead pencil.

It changes classic gray pencils and it helps to avoid strokes not very nice under a watercolor for example! The pack of 12 is enough for the moment, there is a nice variety of colors in it. These pencils go on paper pretty light, so theyre good for sketching in spite of the fact that they dont always fully erase. Used this for my anatomy sketchbook in figure drawing class.
