I like this for when I have friends or wanna make more. When it is not in use my Venus Billeti 10 cup, sits on the gas hob. These photos are taken on my phone, just cropped to miss out the messy kitchen!

They are like 5 bucks and are nice. I recommend getting a battery hand held frother to make foam. Works great had a smaller one I still use.

This review is my experience over 3yrs using this particular model. As you can see in the photo the base still is hardly discoloured and I'm sure this is down to using a small flame. They don’t make expresso but make a good cup of strong coffee. Would recommend a small stainless if you have electric otherwise you will be waiting a long time.

I see many bad reviews as to quality, product build and cleaning problems for this product, I have never experienced any. The pot is shiny and the original seal is only slightly coffee coloured stained. Here's photos of my Venus 10 cup Bialletti coffe jug after 3yrs of daily use, it's been on many motorhome journeys . I had a French press that broke but these are way easier and same concept.

I see now there is also now a different design for the venus. On the rare occasion when I do use detergents; a thoroughly - very good rinse with water. clonked and bashed about. There's no rust in the water reservoir, although I noticed it seems to be lined with a teflon like coating anyhow.

. I rarely use washing up detergents or soap as they contain salt that can encourage rust.
