This is a dark thriller about Annie whose mother is a serial killer. I really enjoyed it! I actually put it down for a week, read another book, and then carried on. I'm glad I did.

While her mother is awaiting her trial Annie is placed in a foster family, where she get’s a new sister and a new name. I was given this book from my mother in law who read it in one day.
What an amazing story. Something I'm not used to. It’s a gripping and unsettling read with an unexpected ending.
To start with it did take me a while to get into it, solely on the writing style and short sentences. Loved it. Different to what I've read before and the style of writing adds to the tension.
Loved it! As the story unfolds the reader finds out more and more about Annie’s dark past and her secrets.
