Amazing book, had it 3 days and on reading it my 2nd time. 'Ink' is a Young Adult novel that is almost as gorgeous as its (gorgeous, shiny, foiled) cover. Wow this is a amazing book. It did tie up enough ends to be satisfying, though, which is a good balance to strike.

Loved this book. It also deals well with prejudice and xenophobia, and shows how the stories we tell ourselves shape the truth at least as much as they reflect it. A great ending lies at the end of the novel.

The beautiful words draw you in,you smell every scent, feel every emotion, so beautifully written that you can picture every character so well. Will definitely read the next book ‘Spark’. I am so in love with the book and it has helped me through some tuff things. Despite buying it for a low price I believe it is one of the best books I have ever read.

Set in a world where every significant act of your life is tattooed on your skin, the story explores truth and lies, transparency and concealment, hope and fear. Well worth a read, for adults young and old!

The start of the book is a little slow but thoroughout the chapters you gradually get little snippets of the plot twists and suspenseful pages ahead! I can't wait for the next installment; in fact, my only criticism is that by the time I was 3/4 of the way through, I could tell it was going to leave a lot open for the rest of the trilogy to pick up. It's a really creative, original and timely book. Cannot wait for more.
