I also appreciate that all of her measurements are cups & not by weight which is done in the US. The Wobbly Chocolate Waffle Pudding was a huge hit this Thanksgiving.

I have too many BBO bakers cookbooks to admit, & this one I have thoroughly enjoyed using! She keeps it simple & takes all of this baking stuff in stride by focusing & great flavour & ingredients. I’ve never wanted to actually read a cookbook until this one.

The writing is as familiar and fun as the author. I know cooking times vary from oven to oven but there was no indication in the cookbook how to check if the cheesecake was ready. Definitely recommend!
I've only tried a couple of recipes so far but they've all been great - see attached photos. This book is going onto the gift list for friends and fam that like to bake. There's also no portion sizes or amounts, the author explains why, and I agree, nobody should tell me how big my slice of cake should be, but I would like to know how many biscuits I'll be making so that I can plan things a little better. Love that the recipes are “rated” as to how easy they should be.
Lottie likes to keep it real “no faff”, & simple to follow recipes. Cooking times vary a little bit, I made the cheesecake the first time and it was still a bit runny after being in the fridge overnight. I’m trying a “5 egg” for Christmas.
Plenty of great tips and suggestions for alternatives throughout the book. Ingredients are US ones also.
