The truck can be opened up or when closed there's a latch in the front of the truck keeping it closed. The firehose actually wraps around on the outside of the truck but honestly it's hard to do that could be better. Bright red fire truck that is nice to have next to her chelesa house. They are always great quality.

The driving chair can come out for a chair also. However, there are small bits, so I definitely would not buy it for a younger toddler. It comes with a couple of pets, which my kids adore.
