Ever since Honeymoon Lana has been making not just music but art. Easily one of the best experiences I’ve had listening to a record. I’m giving this 5 stars because the wrong colour still doesn’t take away ratings for this amazing album however Amazon you need to sort your colour description and product image… there’s now way that is baby pink 😂 She has become the very embodiment of that dream, although as this brand new record attests, we are far from her demise yet.

I was expecting a baby pink one as in the photo, but I don’t really mind😭 Also the album is amazing Lana did a great job as always🫶🏼🫶🏼 A haunting and emotional journey displaying Rey’s greatest work yet. The album continues an arc in her recent work toward the personal, though not necessarily the autobiographical. She stormed into the music scene 11 years ago as a bona-fide indie/pop star, only to slowly transform into the most avant-garde popstress of recent times in the subsequent years, and making the transition seem so organic and natural that one could argue that it was all planned all along.

By God, Lana del Rey, one of the best artists of our generation, the album came 5 days earlier than expected and that made me very happy, 10/10 Norman Rockwell is dethroned, THIS is her magnum opus. Still, just like its lengthy title, and clocking at 77 minutes, DYKTTATUOB stands out in more than one way. She may no longer be the damned Lolita of the past who was obsessed with the American dream and its decay.

Its themes and lyrical preoccupations are philosophical and heavy: God's existence, the afterlife, the concessions of marriage and motherhood, family, fate, love, lust. such a pretty record and it came fast!

The media could not be loaded. Another vinyl I ordered online, unlike my Folklore vinyl the box for this was not damaged, and was also packaged safely and securely. What she started in 2021's Chemtrails Over The Country Club and Blue Banisters, with DYKTTATUOB Lana Del Rey completes.

The vinyl itself and the packaging are in perfect condition, no damaging or warping caused by shipping the vinyl. Being an album only vital to LDR completists, I am sure that most Lanatics like myself will appreciate it as it should be. Only issue, the vinyl is unfortunately not the baby pink as shown in the mock-up, it’s more of a translucent pinky-purple. , here she fails to recreate the indelible allure of that album.
