Even 60TBW should be more than enough, but 4X the endurance rating is a no-brainer for me. However, 480MB/s Read and 385MB/s Writes are well within acceptable ranges so I am very happy. On first impressions this is very worthy of the 5 star rating, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anybody who is looking for a 'good enough' SSD at a good price point. Whilst it's not going to win any awards, this is a plenty good enough drive for the price.

Patriot equips these drives with a SMI SM2259XT (silicon motion) controller, TLC 64 layer NAND dramless. Not wanting to spend a lot, I picked up one of these Patriot P210 drives on sale (under C$30). I will be more than happy to make use of it in that manner, rather than carrying sd cards which I lose far too easily. I just needed enough for a boot-os drive plus some files so I got the 256GB version.

If you are looking for a drive to put in a portable enclosure this is plenty good enough, and if you are on a tight budget, you could even use it as a main internal drive, and not face much, if anything in the way of bottlenecks from it. Patriot advertises up to 520MB/s Read and 430MB/s Writes for the 512GB version. Despite those, these drives are excellent value for the performance they provide.

It worked without any issues out of the box so I am again very happy. AS PER SPECIFICATIONS. This is slightly better than the 128 and 256GB version and similar to the 1TB and 2TB version of the drive.

Hopefully this will be as good as the other Patriot products that I have owned, and give me many years of faithful service, which will make it a true bargain. This machine is my only computer with bluray and dvd drives which are accessed across my home network when needed. Take note that this is a DDR2 laptop but I still obtained acceptable performance from the upgrades After that I popped in into the PC, and connected it via SATA, and it actually surprised me.
