The Makita DC18RD dual-port charger is capable of charging two Makita 18V batteries at the same time. The charging time is the same as the single port charger DC18RC. With an audible sound alert to indicate a full charge and an LED Charging Display. A built-in CPU gathers information from the battery's memory chip to determine optimum charging methods while a forced-air cooling fan cools the battery to minimise charging time.

good seller quick delivery. Turns out there was a grey rubber/silicone flap labeled USB that actually has a connection slot behind it. Same location as previous reviewer described.

Charger pulls about 500w charging two battery's, I charge from solar so it's free. I was wiling to accept the loss for a good deal compare to Home Depot's price sold more than double this asking price.

Feels heavy duty (plastic casing) for commercial use at job sites on demand. ! An older review expressed the USB connection feature does not exist on their unit when removing a black tab at location.

It's a heavy bit of kit. There is an opening for usb but it is empty !

It's fan cooled. This Makita twin charger is very well built and dose the job as you would expect.

The item works but the beep at the end of the charge does not work ! All round a great charger.
